Stricter Penalities for Frequent Crash Drivers in Florida

Bad drivers in Florida will soon have to take a behind-the-wheel driving education course and pass a driving test. The new law will require any motorist convicted of three crash-related moving violations over a three-year period to take the test.

FHP Looking for Agressive Turnpike Drivers This Week

If you drive agressively on the Florida Turnpike you may be the target of the Florida Highway Patrol today and Friday.

Changing lanes abruptly, tailgating, speeding, and ignoring traffic signs are considered agressive tactics by the FHP and they will be looking for these practices this week. FHP will be using aircraft to track drivers.

Northlake Blvd Closed West of US1

A water main break just west of US1 in North Palm Beach has Northlake Blvd closed since just after midnight.

Dispatchers do not know how long the road will be closed.
